There are state of the art training centres nationally which you will attend to complete your practical training – the selected training provider will endeavor to find one located near to where you live.

Q: Are the courses approved?

All courses our training providers offer lead to industry recognised qualifications such as City & Guilds.

Q: When do the courses start?

Their courses are starting all the time and you may enrol at a time to suit you.

Q: I work nights, can I study part-time?

These are distance learning blended training courses and you can study when it suits you/your personal circumstances

Q: Who will train me?

Our training providers are there to help you via telephone, email and also qualified and experienced course tutors are available to help you through your course(s)

Q: How long will it take to qualify?

The length of course depends on an individual’s ability and also the time dedicated to study.

Q: Do I study online or at a training centre?

These are blended learning training courses incorporating home study and practical hands on training as appropriate to the course(s). The training provider we will put you in touch with can provide you with more information regarding your selected course(s).

Q: If I fail an exam?

The training providers offer the chance to have the exam modules re-taken.

Q: What qualifications do I need to start studying the different Trades courses?

You do not necessarily need any qualifications to start with. An experienced trades training specialist will initially assess your ability and recommend which course is best suited to you.

Q: What are the differences between Domestic & Professional courses?

Typically ‘domestic’ courses are level 2 equivalents and the professional equates to level 3. Either level of qualification will enable you to work competently as a qualified trade person within your chosen trade. A trades training specialist will help you select the course which best suits your needs and aspirations.

Q: What is the cost?

The trades training courses our training providers offer start from £20 per week. There is an option to either spread the payments over the length of the course or flexible repayment options are available, subject to status

Q: Can I pay back over a period of time?
